Final withdrawal of engagement with the bank. After three years, and a mountain of unreplied Registered Post documents, it’s time to do what the bank do to you. Send them “the matter is closed” letter. No further discussion will be entered into.
Subject: Final Withdrawal of Engagement
Dear [Bank’s Name],
I am writing to formally withdraw from all further communication and engagement regarding the ongoing dispute. As of [today’s date], I consider this matter closed on my end, and I will not be responding to any further correspondence from your institution or its legal representatives.
Despite numerous efforts to resolve this matter through formal channels, including registered mail and multiple direct communications with senior representatives, including the CEO and Group Legal Counsel, I have been met with a lack of meaningful engagement or transparency.
My attempts to resolve this issue have been ignored, dismissed, or redirected to non-decisional parties.
Given the failure to address the underlying issues in this dispute, I am no longer willing to participate in this process.
Please consider this my final statement on the matter.
I will not be responding to any further communication from your institution, its lawyers, or any third-party representatives regarding this issue.
If you choose to proceed with legal action, I will take such matters up as they arise, but I will not be participating in further disputes or negotiations.
Should any new developments occur, I expect official notification through formal legal channels. Please ensure that no further correspondence is sent to my address or email.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]

Are your banks’ lawyers making false or misleading statements in the course of their demands and threats?… Even though they’re acting on behalf the bank, they may be violating the Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Debt collectors and lawyers must follow strict regulations when demanding payment of debts.
Firstly, they have to prove the debt exists. Not you.
Without proof of money owed or the existence of the debt, they could be violating debt collection laws. It’s all fiction grammar anyway – you just have to prove it.
